Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and committed to serving patients in underserved or resource-limited communities.

Q: Is the training free of charge?

Our mission is to reduce barriers and support global health equity by empowering volunteers with tools, training, and community. Advanced trainings are optional and have a fee.

Q: How long does the required training take to complete?

A: The time for completion of the required training is user dependent and varies based on knowledge of underserved settings, familarity with AI tools, and other factors. The modules are self-paced and can be completed in multiple sessions. You can pause and resume anytime.

Q: What happens after I complete the training?

A: Once you complete all modules and pass the quizzes, you’ll receive a downloadable certificate and gain access to the CareLink volunteer portal. You’ll be eligible to start supporting patients through the TriageNet app, based on your availability and preferences.

Q: Will I need to complete additional training in the future?

A: Yes. To ensure quality and safety, volunteers are required to complete periodic refresher modules and stay up-to-date with evolving protocols and tools. You’ll be notified when new modules are released or when recertification is due (typically every 6 months).

Q: Do I need previous experience with telehealth or AI tools?

A: No prior experience is required. The training includes an introduction to AI-assisted triage and best practices for virtual communication. Our tech modules are beginner-friendly and designed for healthcare professionals of all backgrounds.
